Caught in the cobweb of materialism, man gets bewildered all the time; The people of the world are ever engrossed in hatred, jealousy and criticism of others. This world is false, false are the material objects, and the whole universe is false; The only way to transcend it, is to bow at the sacred feet of the True Saint. O' men, the True Master is the biggest solace, he is the protector of man; Avtar says, only such a man is great who is ever enamoured of the True Master. |
Meaning
Man involves himself in materialism and stays confused all the time. The people of the world are always busy in hatred, jealousy and criticism of others. They don't realise that this world is not going to stay forever. The only way to transcend is to surrender at the sacred feet of the saints. True Master is the only protector of man.
Here Baba Avtar Singh ji is saying that greatness lies in remembering God always.
